so, i’ve always had a mild obsession with bodegas, corner stores, and bottle shops. basically anywhere that panders to the daily needs of addicts, gamblers, and anyone wandering around the neighborhood in need of, well…anything really. guess that’s why i like working in a liquor store so much, it’s fun for me to deal with all the various rungs of humanity. perks of my job also include: openly carrying my firearm when working late, telling people on cellphones to fuck off when they step to the counter, watching members of all races make stereotypical purchases, and tapping bottles with the owner in the stock room. lowest of the low? yes, please.
